The Illuminated Crowd

If you ever find yourself in the center of downtown Montreal, be sure not to miss studying the beautiful, weird, interesting, disturbing, and just plain strange Illuminated Crowd sculpture on Rue Sherbrooke Ouest.  Sculpted in 1985 by artist Raymond Mason, it is said to depict “the flow of man’s emotion through space.”  This shot shows a very small portion of the large sculpture.
