In celebration of the first day of Spring, I thought I’d post this image of a beautiful sea of wild, red poppies found in the Texas Hill Country. A perfect complement to the fields of bluebonnets (the state flower) that sprinkle the roadsides from mid March to mid April, these red poppies are a sure sign that Spring has indeed, sprung.
Old Red Barn
This beautiful, old, red barn is located in Morrisville, Vermont near Stowe. It was such a sweet surprise, and a fantastic place to explore. This picture of it will forever bring back memories of a fabulous family vacation.
The winter of 2012 has been erratic to say the least. So far, we’ve had one really good snow. Luckily, the grey, snowy day was followed by an unbelievable sunny and still day – beautiful for shooting pictures. These red berries were just begging to be noticed.
